I’m Riley Kate (Not my real name… or is it?), a twenty-three year old former college student who holds a degree in Forensic Psych though I really wish I’d held out for that transfer in my senior year to study archeology.
I’m a New York based woman wondering why she’s not in the UK already (college loans, smollage smoans) though I’ve probably spent more time in the Lion’s Den of Massachusetts than most born and bred Yankee fans. I’m a democrat, but that has no bearing on things in this blog… 
I work as a Veterinary Assistant two towns away from home. It was a better job than my last and I’m quite happy to help there for nine or ten hours a day. If anyone knows who the General and Crush Anne is then you know which Veterinary Hospital I’m talking about. It’s my first job away from Retail and I’m loving it; if I could have a dog, I’d probably break my vow to not get any more pets!
Speaking off things small and fuzzy, I am the proud owner of:
+ 2 Gerbils: Jack Karnak O’Neill and Daniel Cairo Jackson.
+ 2 Guinea Pigs: Brownie and Pig aka Nelson Muntz.
+ 3 Rats: MacKenzie Nycklaus Francisco, Konstantin Payge Hazlett, and Guinevere Aleksandra Eve.
+ 1 Cat: Blouney Cat.
Yes, they all have names, though answering to them is optional in their worlds. Each live in a state as near luxury as I can get them with quality food, good beddings, and lots of love.
